I’ve never considered myself particularly artistic. Creative, sure. Artistic? Not so much.

To me, artistic folks are the ones who paint, sketch, and sculpt. They also knit, crochet, and embroider. Basically, I’ve always associated artistic talent with the ability to use your hands to create something beautiful. I suppose you can argue I do that when I sit down at the computer to write, but it’s not the same. I’d be lying if I said FIGHTING CHANCE wasn’t one of my favorite books ever. It really is. Not only was it a blast to write, but it’s also the first book I sold to Ellora’s Cave, which was my ultimate goal at the time. Also, the book features one of my favorite couples, and a heroine with a rather unusual job. She’s a server/model working for an exclusive restaurant where she’s paid to lie naked on a table, while guests feast off her naked body.
